Stop The Merger Of Canada, Mexico & The U.S.

AMERICA / BUSH ADMINISTRATION'S SECURITY & PROSPERITY PARTNERSHIP (SPP) AGREEMENT MERGES THE GOVERNMENTS OF CANADA, MEXICO AND THE U.S.

Smiley Flag Waver1,000 pages on the SPP/North American Union clearly reveal that the Bush administration is running a "shadow government" with Mexico and Canada in which unelected bureaucrats are crafting a broad range of policy changes.

A "Myth vs. Fact" document posted for public relations purposes begins the "whitewash" in which they think they can hoodwink the American public. One of the ways the administration has been able to go around Congress is by not having the three countries sign a treaty or "law" on SPP. I want to know -- and the American public should demand -- where does the Bush administration get the congressional authorization to invite two foreign nations to the table to rewrite U.S. law?

November 18, 2006

I just returned from a week in Washington, D.C. with a group of concerned women where we learned about the Security and Prosperity Partnership (SPP), also known as "The North American Union." This partnership was agreed upon at a private meeting held in Waco, Texas, March 23, 2005, between then-President of Mexico, Vicente Fox, U.S. President George Bush, and then-Prime Minister Paul Martin of Canada. The SPP is an agreement to merge our United States of America with Mexico and Canada.

I am outraged about what the Bush administration is doing with this partnership behind Congress's back. (See http://www.spp.gov )

With virtually no mention in the mainstream media and no oversight from Congress, Commerce Secretary Carlos M. Gutierrez is pushing forward, through his department, the "working groups" that are currently implementing this plan. Government bureaucrats and business leaders are "harmonizing and integrating" our laws with Mexico and Canada on a broad range of issues such as E-Commerce, Transportation, Environment, Health, Agriculture, Financial Services, and National Security just to mention a few. Do we want our laws "harmonized" with Socialist Canada and corrupt Mexico ?

If you are concerned about terrorism in our country just remember that enlarging our borders, merging our security functions with one of the most corrupt nations on earth ( Mexico ), and giving up sovereignty and constitutional protections does NOT make us safer.

Dr. Jerome Corsi, a Harvard Professor, who has spent months researching this issue was recently able through a Freedom of Information request to obtain about 1,000 pages on SPP/North American Union, which clearly reveal that the Bush administration is running a "shadow government" with Mexico and Canada in which unelected bureaucrats are crafting a broad range of policy changes.

The SPP is truly rewriting U.S. administrative law, all without Congressional oversight or public disclosure. The government watchdog organization, Judicial Watch, obtained many of the same documents that Dr. Corsi has received, including the organizational chart and a listing of trilateral Mexican, Canadian, and U.S. administrative officers who report on multiple cabinet-level "working groups."

The SPP.gov web site has now put up a "Myth vs. Fact" document posted for public relations purposes to begin the "whitewash" in which they think they can hoodwink the American public. One of the ways the administration has been able to go around Congress is by not having the three countries sign a treaty or "law" on SPP. I want to know -- and the American public should demand -- where does the Bush administration get the congressional authorization to invite two foreign nations to the table to rewrite U.S. law?

The Bush administration is trying to create the infrastructure for a new regional North American government in stealth fashion, under the radar and out of public view. Congress has unequivocally been asleep at the wheel.

It is incredible but, if this template is followed, just four years from now the United States may cease to exist as an independent nation. Its laws, rules and regulations -- including all freedoms guaranteed by the Constitution -- will be subject to review and nullification by the North American Union's governing body (unelected). There will no longer be a Canadian or Mexican border. Transnational transportation corridors will crisscross the United States delivering the cheapest goods possible from China and Vietnam with Mexican truckers who will work for a pittance of what our U.S. truckers earn. Thousands of middle-class jobs will be wiped out, and the U.S. will become nothing more than a province in an emerging North American superstate.

The American people have got to be alerted and we must contact our members of Congress to put a stop to this. Most Representatives and Senators are largely unaware of the SPP/North American Union. I am certain that an aroused and deeply concerned electorate would have little trouble gaining support to block what is planned and retain our nation's hard-won independence. Please help stop this insane move towards a North American Union.

"Today as you surely know, ... Mexico is little more than a narco-state, responsible for 92 percent of the cocaine sold in the U.S. in 2004 and wracked by warring drug cartels. Law enforcement officers on both sides of the border are increasingly attacked by paramilitary units, aka "Zetas", escorting drug shipments into the U.S. and reportedly offering a $50,000 bounty on Border Patrol agents and police officers." -- State Sen. America: A Noble Cause For Freedom

AMERICA / NOBLE CAUSE FOR FREEDOM

Devvy Kidd

Smiley Flag WaverI was reminded of the utter foolishness of the Anti-Defamation League's direct instigation and massive push to get Congress and states of the Union to pass "hate crime" laws. Of all people, Abraham Foxman and his colleagues should be the first to condemn such Nazism because that's exactly what "hate crime" laws are; I wouldn't be surprised to see the next push by the ADL being "thought crime" laws. It is exactly this type of suppression laws that allowed Adolph Hitler and his mad henchmen to take power in Germany. National ID under Department of Homeland Security? May as well be Department of Der Fuehrer's Motherland. Everything Hitler did was "according to the laws" of Germany at the time and the people walked right into the trap. First, by giving up their guns for the "good of the community," and second, by going along with silencing the people by bastardizing their existing laws - for the good of the Fatherland.

The voluntary National ID, which most Americans think is mandatory thanks to the lackeys in the media, must be challenged by the states straight to the U.S. Supreme Court.

THE POWER OF ONE

~ By: Devvy Kidd
December 11, 2006

"One man with courage makes a majority." So said President Andy Jackson, a true lion of his time.

One can also be a lonely number when a person feels overwhelmed by events. But, one can also be glorious and let me give you a few examples where one became so many.

Jodi Waters was one when she began blowing the whistle about the dangerous gas by-product called MTBE. During the seven year long battle to get MTBE banned, Jodi, as one, became hundreds of thousands. I know because I was a participant in that effort out in California - a huge state for such a grass roots effort on a shoe string budget. Jodi's efforts triumphed over the behemoth oil companies because one became hundreds of thousands of Americans all on the same sheet of facts and effective activism. We won.

When Bill Benson did his exhaustive research which uncovered the fraudulent ratification of the Sixteenth and Seventeenth Amendments, it started as a lonely mission in dusty basements of old state buildings. Then he was one. But, one became hundreds, then tens of thousands and then hundreds of thousands because his research documents obtained at the state archives was spread from one to another one to another one.

In two weeks, Christians around the world will celebrate the birth of Him, our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. The one who had to die a horrible death so that we could be forgiven our sins in the eyes of God. Jesus was one. As has been said and written millions of times over the past two thousand plus years, this one man did not go to college, He didn't write books, He didn't own a house full of servants. He came into this world to deliver the word of God and to suffer our sins. One man changed the world forever because the ideas he brought to those who listened with their hearts became hundreds, then thousands, then millions and billions.

One is a powerful number.

There is one other person few know of by the name of Sophie Scholl who lived in Germany under Hitler and The Third Reich. She was involved in distributing The White Rose Leaflets. Her story is a powerful memorial to those throughout history who chose their conscience over cowardice. One student became two, two became ten and the numbers multiplied as did the message they sacrificed all to bring to fellow students. Sophie Scholl: The Final Days is a compelling movie that brings the power of one straight to the heart. There are no bare boobs, sex acts or the 'F' word in this spell binding recreation of what life was like under the Nazi regime, but it is a movie that will move you. I hope it will frighten many.

As I watched Sophie's story, I was reminded of the utter foolishness of the Anti-Defamation League's direct instigation and massive push to get Congress and states of the Union to pass "hate crime" laws.

I want you to watch Sophie Scholl: The Final Days some evening after the children are in bed and it's quiet. I want you to think about those innocents asleep in the next room and imagine living under an iron fist as the people of Germany did under Hitler: No free speech, forced National ID, no habeus corpus, kangaroo courts and instant execution. This movie will chill you to the bone and I hope will awaken one more American to the dark future facing US. Only those in selective denial are unaware of the eminent death of this republic. The fight by we the people that must be fought has to kick into over drive after the holidays or we will perish in the flames of totalitarian government. This is not a welcome message this time of year, but it is a necessary one.

The voluntary National ID, which most Americans think is mandatory thanks to the lackeys in the media, must be challenged by the states straight to the U.S. Supreme Court. The Patriot Act, the provisions of the Military Commissions Act and John Warner Defense Authorization Act - all must be nullified; that's just the short list. Active military and local law enforcement need to get the truth about the true agenda of the shadow government's "war on terrorism." Local law enforcement has been gradually morphing into para military organizations with an unhealthy attitude towards the common man. The invasion by Mexico must be stopped, NO amnesty, round up the illegals and get them deported or America is doomed as a nation and if you think I'm just blowing smoke on this one, I respectfully direct you to Frosty Wooldridge's continuing series on this issue.

The dominant media (Fourth Estate), both print and electronic (including cable), has become a worthless, pathetic institution. Today this so-called "mainstream" or dominant media apparatus is filled with nothing but sycophants, intellectually lazy robots and opportunists. As a collective body it worsens with time as truth is squashed by politics instead of sounding the alarm. What can one person do to get the truth out to our fellow Americans? As those courageous students did with the White Rose Leaflets and the colonials who birthed this republic so long ago, we can still use the power of the press by becoming the press. Certainly we have become that thanks to the Internet and personal computers, but it's not enough because tens of millions of Americans don't have PCs, they don't know where to look for credible information on line or because of work and family obligations, don't have time. These same Americans will catch some manufactured "news" in the evening on ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, MSNBC or FOX. Some will read a few stories from the local newspaper which is just the same regurgitated baloney pumped out by AP or Reuter's. No, what we need is an efficient, simple and inexpensive method for one to become thousands and tens of thousands and millions.

I have a new section on my web site titled Flyers. The first couple are up with more to come. We the people can become like a local newspaper by printing a master of any of the flyers, making ten, twenty or a hundred copies and getting them out. So many Americans feel disenfranchised and beyond frustrated because they don't know what they can do to help; work, commute and family eating so many hours. Money is in short supply and getting shorter. Flyers are cheap and it doesn't take much effort. While my mom is 80 years old and can't do a lot in the way of activism, she will get 100 of each from me to drop off at the senior center. Mother wants to do this for the cause. She is one, but will reach 100. Newspapers throughout this country refuse to sound the alarm, but we the people can do it through flyers. Paper the country with the truth instead of communist propaganda on the editorial pages of America's "news" papers. Americans will read a well done flyer and begin to wonder why their local newspaper isn't exposing the truth. The colonials did it and they only had the most basic of printing presses. But, one pamphlet became two and multiplied so fast, the British couldn't stop them. Should we do less?

There's no charge for this service. I am happy to make these flyers available to everyone so that each one can become ten, a hundred, a thousand. Forget e-mails to Congress; they are buried in hundreds of thousands of them every month. Same thing with state legislators on a slightly smaller scale; remember many state legislatures are only in session the first few months of the year. Mail them a flyer; snail mail gets opened and read for distribution. I remember the scene towards the end of the movie, Braveheart, where the Princess of Wales visits William Wallace in the dungeon. She cries and tells him he will die unless he swears allegiance to Longshanks. Wallace replies that all men die, but not all men really live. Will we live on our knees or really live for the noble cause of freedom? Are we not a warrior class?

Never forget the power of one - you.

Liberal Democrats Consider The Fascist Option

LIFE - POLITICS - SOCIETY / RADICAL EXTREMIST LEFT-WING LIBERAL SOCIALIST DEMOCRATS PUSHING AMERICA FURTHER INTO FASCIST STATE CORPORATISM

Reality Check

Smiley Flag WaverIn common with the left-wing liberals of the Democratic Party, Fascists believed that private individuals and private business counted for little, if anything, in the creation of jobs and the necessary production of society's goods and services. People's lives and livelihoods were viewed as the creation of the political state, which therefore had the last word in regulating human activity.

Democrats Consider The Fascist Option

New Media Allians Staff Writer
~ By Thomas E. Brewton

Democrats, committed to the theory that only the political state can improve people's lives, explore ways to deliver on campaign promises.

David Wessel writes in the November 30 edition of the Wall Street journal here, (if you're an online subscriber):

In campaign rhetoric, Democrats raised expectations they would do more than Republicans to boost wages and living standards of ordinary Americans . . . Now Democrats have to deliver, or at least look like they're trying.

. . . Democrats, [Gene Sperling, a Democratic cabinet-secretary-in-waiting] says, must figure out what government can do to encourage business to create more middle-class jobs in the U.S.

. . . [Robert Reich, the former Clinton labor secretary], recites a familiar list: trade policy, industrial policy -- government attempts to influence the flow of capital toward promising industries and companies -- antitrust, publicly financed research and development, and stronger trade unions.

The sorts of policies advocated by Mr. Reich are what led us to economic and social disaster in the 1930s and again in the 1960s and 70s. Those policies are also essential elements in the economic doctrine of Mussolini's and Hitler's Fascism.

In both Italian Fascism and German National Socialism, the political state had the last word in establishing wages, hours, production volumes, and sale prices of goods. Unlike Soviet Communism, Fascism left property ownership in its original hands, recognizing that regulatory control was sufficient to carry out political and economic policies. Labor unions remained in existence and were strengthened vis a vis industrialists, and farmers were assured higher prices.

In common with the left-wing liberals of the Democratic Party, Fascists believed that private individuals and private business counted for little, if anything, in the creation of jobs and the necessary production of society's goods and services. People's lives and livelihoods were viewed as the creation of the political state, which therefore had the last word in regulating human activity.

President Franklin Roosevelt, in his first inaugural address of March 4, 1933, put it this way:

Plenty is at our doorstep, but a generous use of it languishes in the very sight of the supply. Primarily, this is because the rulers of the exchange of mankind’s goods have failed through their own stubbornness and their own incompetence ... Our greatest primary task is to put people to work ... It can be accomplished in part by direct recruiting by the government itself, treating the task as we would treat the emergency of war ... Hand in hand with this, we must frankly recognize the overbalance of population in our industrial centers and, by engaging on a national scale in the redistribution, endeavor to provide a better use of the land for those best fitted for the land ... It can be helped by the unifying of relief activities which today are often scattered, uneconomical and unequal. It can be helped by national planning for and supervision of all forms of transportation and of communications and other utilities which have a definite public character … if we are to go forward we must move as a trained and loyal army willing to sacrifice for the good of the common discipline, because, without such discipline, no progress is made…We are, I know, ready and willing to submit our lives and property to such discipline because it makes possible a leadership which aims at a larger good ... With this pledge taken, I assume unhesitatingly the leadership of this great army of our people, dedicated to a disciplined attack upon our common problems ...

We already know from Democrats' campaign rhetoric that, for starters, they intend to fix wages and to jack up income tax rates.

Why Democrats repeatedly come back to this Fascist program is one of politics' great puzzlements. It failed miserably, first under Franklin Roosevelt, then under Lyndon Johnson.

Under Roosevelt, from 1933 until our entry into World War II in 1941, unemployment never averaged less than triple the level prevailing today. Economic activity remained stagnant for eight dreary years. Not until the 1950s did the stock market, the best single index of economic activity, regain its 1929 level.

Businessmen in the 1930s were frightened by Roosevelt's continual attacks on them as "economic royalists" and his tripling income tax rates into the 70+ percent range. Federal planners never stopped tinkering with new plans, bureaus, taxes, and regulations, which made increased production and new hiring by private business a chancy undertaking. The National Recovery Administration (NRA) implemented an almost exact copy of Mussolini's Fascist State Corporatism, with industry councils of producers and labor unions directed by Federal regulators. Wages, prices, and production quotas were to be controlled by NRA administrators. Farm production was nationalized, with prices fixed by Federal regulators and farmers told what and how much they could raise.

Repetition of the Roosevelt's Fascist policies under the Great Society of the 1960s and 70s produced the second greatest economic and social disaster in our history. We no longer had the NRA State Corporatism, but the numbers of Federal regulations climbed into the millions, while spreading to cover an ever-widening array of activity, all under an exploding list of new Federal agencies. Fascist-socialistic income redistribution reached unprecedented heights with the Great Society's vast array of welfare hand-out entitlements and with the replacement of equal opportunity under the law by affirmative action.

Inflation soared into the 20 percent range, causing families to lose more than half the purchasing power of their life savings. Unemployment became a major problem, and manufacturing companies shut down across the industrial Midwest, turning it into the Rust Bowl. Men began "moonlighting" (holding two and three jobs) and the rate of women's participation in the full-time workforce roughly doubled, both just to make enough money to pay the rent and buy groceries.

Over the coming months, remember that when San Francisco and Harlem socialists lay out their aims, no matter what they promise, they are once again planning to push us off the economic cliff, further into Fascist State Corporatism.

American Concentration Camps On The Books

AMERICA / CONGRESSMAN: " AMERICAN CONCENTRATION CAMPS ARE ON THE BOOKS"

InfoWars

Preserving Freedom

Smiley Flag WaverRight now we don't have concentration camps, but like you have pointed out, the authority has been given so that concentration camps can come without Habeas Corpus . I have heard the argument that there is nothing else left in the Bill of Rights. If they can lock you up, what good is freedom of speech or what good is a gun? That is now part of the books, part of the law."

~ Congressman Ron Paul [R-Tx]

Congressman: American Concentration Camps "On The Books"

Texas Representative urges repeal of neo-fascist laws in America before it is too late

~ Steve Watson
Infowars.net
Monday, November 13, 2006

Re-elected Texas Republican Congressman Ron Paul joined Alex Jones on air last week to discuss the fallout of the midterm elections and what he sees transpiring over the next two years. He ended by ominously warning that if something is not done soon to overturn legislation such as the Military Commissions act, the law officially allows for citizen concentration camp facilities.

Beginning with the positives to come out of the election, Ron Paul stressed that it has provided an important indication to the rest of the world that the people of America are unhappy with the usurpers that have seized control of their government and are trying to initiate change. The Congressman was quick to point out that this may not be carried into policy however:

"Not a whole lot will change because the leadership on the Democratic side, even if they had their way, don't have a different foreign policy. They have been supportive of an interventionist foreign policy in the middle east, and they are not about to back away from that ... They are willing to criticize the policy but only as a means to get power."

As we have seen over the past week, leading Democrats are all towing the party line, unreservedly dismissing any notion of the possibility of impeaching the President over Iraq.

The Congressman also stated that monetary policy will stay the same, which can only mean bad news for the American economy.

" They all believe in the federal reserve, they are not going to get rid of the IRS and the income tax. I think the dollar is going to keep sliding, which means prices are going to rise, when currencies self destruct, the end goes quickly. There are no signs that there is anything being done in Washington to correct the problem. Spending is going to continue and probably going to get worse, the deficits are going to stay high if foreign policy is not going to change."

The Congressman agreed that the elite globalists within the US government may not care about this too much because it means they can blow out the economy and then come back and buy it up very cheaply. These Internationalists care not about preserving and protecting American sovereignty when there is a quick buck to be made.

"That's also part of the foreign policy to be in position to hold onto natural resources, that's one of the major reasons why we're in the middle east, so yes if there is a financial crisis, they're going to have the guns, and they have control of the natural resources... It's not a good scenario, because what usually happens when you wipe out a currency is that you wipe out the middle class, and we already see this happening. The standard of living is going down." Paul asserted.

Ron Paul [R-Tx]

Ron Paul's comments echo those of Former World Bank Vice President, Chief Economist and Nobel Prize winner Joseph Stiglitz, who two weeks ago predicted a global economic crash within 24 months - unless the current downturn is successfully managed. Asked if the situation was being properly handled Stiglitz emphatically responded "no," and also drew ominous parallels to the development of the NAFTA Superhighway and the North American Union.

What real Conservatism there was left in the House, to block such moves, as well as Bush's amnesty program for illegals, is gone. With Pelosi at the helm Ron Paul sees it as a forgone conclusion that such policies will sail through.

"I think that's right, although I complain about the two parties being exactly alike, I would say on this amnesty issue and what's happened with the election, there probably was a difference between the two. It is more likely with the Democrats in charge, and Judiciary and the other major committees, and with the President not really fighting for our national borders, he's always argued for some type of worker program, yes I think there's a much greater danger that that is going to be coming in the next session."

Commenting on strategies to defeat the North American Union, the Congressman urged a continuance of educating people on the real issues and reaching more and more Americans who care about preserving their national sovereignty:

"You have to keep doing what you are doing, you are reaching a lot of people, and they have to get to their members of congress, and in many ways the current House has been pretty good with this. With the new House we don't know exactly what is going to happen, but I had something very encouraging come to my attention just this week. I had a call from a young lady that won in Kansas as a Democrat, and in her literature she put my whole article on the NAFTA super corridor in there... She is not going to vote with Nancy Pelosi."

Bush-Pelosi

Finally, and perhaps most importantly, The Congressman spoke on the issue of going about demanding a repeal of freedom crushing legislation such as the Patriot act and the Military Commissions act and the Defense Authorization Act which essentially wipes out Habeas Corpus.

"We might have to hope that our Supreme Court helps us out a little. The Court has been better than the executive branch and a heck of a lot better than the Congress, because we've given the President everything he's asked for and the President has been begging for all this authority, so immediately we have to hope that the courts will save us on some of these things. But once again ultimately its only when the people wake up and say they don't like this... sometimes the people wake up to late. Right now we don't have concentration camps, but like you have pointed out, the authority has been given so that concentration camps can come without Habeas Corpus . I have heard the argument that there is nothing else left in the Bill of Rights. If they can lock you up, what good is freedom of speech or what good is a gun? That is now part of the books, part of the law."

Take Ron Paul's suggestion up and contact your new or re-elected members and demand a move to repeal legislation paving the way for fascist government control in America today.

Fasten Your Seatbelts - Rough Ride Ahead

POLITICS / FASTEN YOUR SEATBELTS - WE ARE IN FOR A ROUGH RIDE AHEAD

JIm R Schwiesow

Smiley Flag WaverWe now have an unholy alliance to deal with, a Bush-Pelosi team for socialism and world governance. Look for social reforms that will put the new deal to shame. An amnesty for law-breaking illegal aliens is a certainty, which is a gleeful prospect for Mr. Bush who will then be a step closer to that North American Union that he dreams of. Continuing social depravity, which a Republican majority failed to engage, is now a foregone conclusion with humanist Democrats in charge. Fasten your seatbelts, brothers and sisters; we are in for a rough ride.

A NEW BURNS AND ALLEN SHOW

~ By Jim R. Schwiesow

November 14, 2006
NewsWithViews.com

Those of us old enough to remember the comic act of George Burns and Gracie Allen will recall that the recurring theme of the show was the interaction between a shrewd and astute husband, George Burns, and a simple-minded and intellectually vacuous wife, Gracie Allen. The show provided many hours of merriment for thousands of radio and TV listeners and viewers throughout the United States. I now announce that the country is soon to be introduced to a new Burns and Allen show in an all-new format. It will be called the George Bush and Nancy Pelosi show. I welcome you to view the new king and queen of vaudeville in a brand new serial comedy with an entirely new congressional cast.

George Bush has played straight man to socially debauched Democrats since the day that he first stepped into office. Not possessed of the sapience of a George Burns or the verbal expertise - he has done more to commit to genocide the English language than anyone I know - he has nevertheless stepped forward with craggy countenance and subservient deportment to play fool to the fools. In this regard we have to give tribute to his acting abilities, which rival, if not exceed, those of George Burns. Mr. Bush’s obsequious attention to the political wacko’s of our congressional la la land during his six years as president was not without a purpose, a purpose that I will enlarge upon herein.

I understand that Gracie Allen was possessed of superior intelligence and wisdom, and that her on-stage personality was simply the result of the high quality of her role-playing. Nancy Pelosi on the other hand is naturally possessed of naiveté and a room temperature I.Q. All one has to do is to catch her on the tube to discern that she is not the sharpest stick in the bundle. Actually I am being kind to her with that statement. Like Gracie Allen she also has an on-stage personality and an off-stage personality. And the two diverge significantly. Ever the woman of the common people with disdain for the tax-paying rich in her on-stage personage, she actually lives in capitalist splendor, with a personal wealth of $55 million, in her off-stage reality. It makes one wonder what these nitwits are going to do, and how they’re going to cope, when they have completely destroyed our constitutional republic and are forced to live under the dominance of communistic style despotism. I would imagine that Nancy Pelosi and Ted Kennedy, the Laurel and Hardy of the party of the Democrats, have never contemplated the ultimate consequence of their political stupidity.

The gentleman, who wrote me in behalf of his hero, George Bush, and substituted name calling for articulate discourse, is not going to like the content of this column. A perfectly legitimate and airtight case can be made that George W. Bush deliberately engineered the election debacle, which doomed the continuance in office of many congressional Republicans.

There are Republicans who in their hearts do value the freedoms granted by the constitution, and agonize over the socially repugnant course of the nation. There may be one or two Democrats also; we’ll just have to send out a search party to beat the bushes to find them. The real tragedy is that these people have attached more significance to a slavish commitment to party loyalty than to maintaining the freedoms and liberties wrought by constitutional principles. Their integrity can, and should, be called into question when they have not the courage to stand against the passage of tyrannical laws, which steal the freedoms of U.S. citizens. And if their party, or their president, insists that they capitulate to an ideology, which they know to be wrong and inimical to the best interests of a sovereign nation, they ought to remove themselves from that ideological cesspool, and realign themselves with a party, which better reflects their ethics and their values. If enough would do so a viable and competitive third party could be built and expanded.

I believe, and contrary to what some may think it is my perfect right to do so, that George Bush is extremely pleased by the election slaughter, which sunk the political hopes of so many of his fellow Republicans in congress. Too many of these Republicans had worked in opposition to his goal for a North American Union. Too many were furious over his continual refusal to secure the borders and to bring to a halt an ever-increasing influx of illegal aliens. Too many were angered by his completely dumb insistence on amnesty for law-breaking border intruders, and more than a few were beginning to question the wisdom of his policies in relation to an increasingly casualty ridden war in Iraq. The old adage, which holds that you can’t fool all of the people all of the time was coming into play.

Unquestionably President Bush did everything in his power to contribute to the disaffection and dissatisfaction of the people in regard to these issues, and he did nothing to dissuade them from their ever-increasing anger with their elected Republican representatives. What did he care, they were close to an election and he had two more years to dink with the fate of the nation. In his mind this was their misfortune and his good luck. He reasoned that the Democrats were more attuned to his quest for one world governance, so he opted to throw his lot in with the opposition. I would imagine that as time passes many of the losing Republicans, who were sold out by Mr. Bush, would most likely come to the inescapable conclusion that they were played for suckers, big time.

Some have taken issue with me concerning some of my contentions in previous articles. A very learned gentleman with a constitutional knowledge, which far surpasses mine, wrote and informed me that The Constitution, right or wrong, provided for one man to take control in times of military service, not War. Note: “The President shall be Commander in Chief of the Army and Navy of the United States, and of the Militia of the several States, when called into the actual Service of the United States; Not war, but service is the key.”

As I stated, this man’s credentials are impeccable when it comes to an understanding of the constitution. He also had this to say about presidential abuses of power, “Was there a check on this power? Of course there is. The Constitution provided for the impeachment of the President if he abused any power including the power of the Commander in Chief. Also, we have the right to vote him out of office at the end of his term. Remember that the same paragraph that gives him the role of Commander in Chief also says he has the power to overrule a court and even do away with a ruling the court has imposed except in cases of impeachment of officials. Instead of fighting what he is doing as being unconstitutional, we should be fighting to have a Supreme Court ruling or an Amendment to the Constitution to define the powers of the Commander in Chief more accurately. While Bush has done so many things he shouldn't to drag us further into socialism, his wiretaps and other "Patriot act" moves are all constitutional. As President he couldn't do any of those things but as Commander in Chief he can.”

I have no problem with a program to rid nation of the threat wrought by international terrorism. But, I do have a problem when a president, or anyone else, treacherously misrepresents the true nature of his actions. Ironically we find evidence of a similar kind of treachery in our historical archives. This has been documented, for readers, in an article by Devvy Kidd entitled, FDR and the Pearl Harbor Attack

Now, I know that Saddam Hussein was a tyrant of the most despicable kind. I also know that Kim Jong-il of North Korea and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad of Iran are of an equally contemptible disposition. And both of these countries are absolutely identified as having weapons of mass destruction.

Since we are nearly certain that Iraq posed no significant threat to our nation and that Iraq had not the means, or the intent, to launch an attack upon the United States, President Bush could not truthfully support a determination that Iraq was an immediate danger. So he did what most politicians do, he improvised and by subterfuge created the illusion that Saddam was poised for an act of aggression against the United States. Now, in my book this is called lying, and I have a very low tolerance for liars. My Dad taught me at a very early age that to be honest and forthcoming was a virtue, and that to be a liar was contemptible. In my boyhood to lie was to invite a session with the razor strop. God Bless him I am thankful that he instilled this in me. So, if Mr. Bush did not abuse his powers technically, he did so in substance. I submit that prevarication and misrepresentation to gain approval for a clearly uncalled for war indicates a moral deficiency too serious to ignore.

So, now we have an unholy alliance to deal with, a Bush-Pelosi team for socialism and world governance.
