On September 19, 2006, Border Patrol Agents Ignacio Ramos and Jose Compean were sentenced to a combined 23 years in jail for what Congressman Tom Tancredo described as "doing their job," pursuing an illegal alien drug smuggler. Last month, the House Judiciary Committee failed to hold the hearing promised to the families of these former Border Patrol Agents. With less than two weeks left before they have to report to jail, the clock is ticking down for President Bush to issue a full Presidential pardon for Agents Ramos and Compean.

Recently, Andy Ramirez, Chairman of Friends of the Border Patrol, joined CFIF Corporate Counsel and Senior Vice President Renee Giachino to discuss the importance of supporting the border patrol and its agents, the legal case against Agents Ramos and Compean and what must be done to restore fairness to these agents and their families.

What follows is the interview originally heard on "Your Turn -- Meeting Nonsense With Commonsense" on WEBY 1330 AM, Northwest Florida's talk radio.

Wal-Mart Sponsors Diversity Week, Includes How To Defeat A Constitutional Ban On Homosexual Marriage

Wal-Mart has given its full endorsement to the homosexual agenda and homosexual marriage. Boise State University in Boise, Idaho, will observe LGBT Diversity Week October 9-13. One of the sponsors for the Diversity Week is Wal-Mart.

Wal-Mart is joining the Pleasure Boutique (an adult bookstore which bills itself as "Idaho's largest selection of adult movies and DVDs and largest adult toy selection in Idaho") and other groups in sponsoring the week. Diversity Week is a week of celebrating homosexuality and promoting the homosexual agenda and homosexual marriage.

Among the events being sponsored by Wal-Mart is Idaho Votes No Campaign Update and Information Workshop. Voters in Idaho will be voting on a constitutional amendment banning same sex marriage in November. This Wal-Mart sponsored event will inform voters how to oppose the amendment and how to get others to do so. Wal-Mart is putting their money behind the effort to legalize homosexual marriage.

Other events being sponsored by Wal-Mart: Gay History of Idaho, Diversity in the Workplace, Women's/Lesbian Issues, Hate Based Crimes, Heterosexism, Homosexuality and Disabilities, LGBT Youth in Trouble, MCC-Faith and LGBT, and a youth dance for those age 24 and under.

We earlier reported on Wal-Mart throwing their clout and cash behind the homosexual marriage effort.

TAKE ACTION

1. Send your email to Wal-Mart using the link below. Wal-Mart often blocks our emails. To make sure your voice is heard, please call Wal-Mart's headquaters and ask to speak with President Lee Scott at 479-273-4000.

2. Call your local Wal-Mart manager and express your concerns. Please be polite when you call.

3. Print out and distribute our Pass Along Sheet.

4. Be sure to forward this to your entire email list to alert them of the strong stand by Wal-Mart in promoting the homosexual agenda and homosexual marriage.

Welcome to the new home of the Barber Shoppe Gazette, formerly located at eNewsBlog.com/Gazette.

Advaliant, which had purchased eNewsBlog.com approximately 6 months ago, apparently decided to discontinue the service on Friday, October 13th, without affording any advanced notice to its subscribers or webmasters. Conversely, we had anticipated that Advaliant's takover of eNewsBlog.com would have afforded visitors and webmasters some new enhancements to the Blog.

eNewsBlog.com had been plagued for several months by apparent Liberal homosexual, pornographic perverts posting homosexual, pornographic material and/or blank [empty] comments to postings on eNewsBlog.com blogs, to include The Barber Shoppe Gazette, in an apparent retaliation [revenge] against posted Christian and Conservative article content. Access to and speed of the service had also deteriorated during the past several weeks. Although we had complained to Advaliant via e-mail concerning the rash of offensive, illegitimate, perverted postings nearly two-and-a-half months prior to Advaliant's apparent decision to discontinue the service, we were never afforded the courtesy of a reply to our complaint or of Advaliant's decision to remedy the situation by discontinuing the service entirely.

Our original home page URL, as well as the URL's of all of our previously posted article archives are currently being re-directed to a home page promoting Advaliant's marketing and advertising products. Unfortunately, the archived Barber Shoppe Gazette articles that were posted on the eNewsBlog.com server are lost. Unaware of Advaliant's intent, we were not afforded the ability or time to transfer the articles posted there to our new location here. We will continue posting new articles here, and will attempt to re-post archived articles as we are able to locate them on other sources.

The Barber Shoppe Gazette Blog, which had recorded more than 91,000 hits on the eNewsBlog.com server since we began posting there on January 16th 2005, will be continued here on Google Blogspot, which affords us more flexibility in the Blog's design. Notice the inclusion of additional extra features such as cartoons, and news, sports and stock tickers, as well as an enhanced formatted home page. Google Blogspot affords webmasters personal control and screening of all visitor comment postings prior to their actual appearance on their blogs, as well as affording them greater flexibility in indexing posted articles by date, and the addition of subject [topic] content search tags to each posted article [notice below].
