What’s odd about all this is that liberals are far and away the most morally challenged primates on the planet. Case in point: Liberals made a celebrity out of former New Jersey Gov. James “I am a gay American” McGreevy who resigned in shame after admitting to having a homosexual affair while he was married. McGreevy, a Democrat, confessed that he resorted to anonymous homosexual encounters at adult bookstores and highway rest stops. Not only that, the former governor was implicated in several fund raising scandals. Even after all this, the liberals helped promote McGreevy’s memoirs. Dare I ask who’s purchasing this rubbish? Not Evangelicals, I assure you.

Why is the media still feigning blue-faced outrage over a politician being exposed in all his naked depravity? You’d think they’d be used to immorality on Capitol Hill by now. What’s noteworthy regarding the latest scandal is that the Left has gone after a homosexual. Why? Because Rep. Mark Foley is a Republican. It’s astonishing that big media would have touched this sordid tale with a ten-foot pole.

To be fair, when disgraced ex-Congressman Foley publishes his memoirs -- and dimes to donuts he will -- the media will rally round him and help his book climb to #1 on the NY Times best seller list. Sadly, the more sordid the story, the more the public finds pleasure in it.

If morality mattered one iota to liberals, the entertainment industry (they run it) wouldn’t be in the sorry state it’s in. Movies and television are awash with foul language, graphic sex and gratuitous violence. Even TV commercials have become all about sex. Some ads are downright disgusting. Watch a sports event with your kids some Sunday afternoon and you can count on them being exposed to R-rated commercials!

Speaking of disgusting. One of the most watched programs on TV is Two and a Half Men starring Charlie Sheen. “Charlie’s character is incredibly promiscuous and it is depicted as funny when he uses women for sex and doesn’t maintain meaningful relationships with any of them.” The pre-teen boy on the show is dragged into all sorts of sexual situations, and viewers actually find this humorous. A few seasons ago on the award winning Desperate Housewives a married woman had an affair with a 17-year-old boy, and another woman in the neighborhood keeps an ax murderer in her basement. Viewers are also enjoying a constant -- stream of raunch from popular shows like Nip/tuck, Rescue Me, Grey’s Anatomy, Criminal Minds, Boston Legal, and Supernatural. America’s youngsters are exposed to violent video games as well as G-rated movies that bombard them with violence and potty humor.

Thank you, Hollywood amoralists, for robbing millions of children of their innocence.

All the concern over Foley’s sexually charged emails-and- explicit-instant-message- congressional-page-scandal is way out of character for the leftist/progressive/anarchists, who aren’t outraged over much of anything unless it pertains to George W. Bush. But suddenly they’re demanding to know who in the Republican Party knew about Mark Foley’s predatory predisposition ... and when they knew it.

It should come as no surprise that there’s a double standard here. Liberals know perfectly well what their hero, Sen. Ted Kennedy (D), did that fateful night he drove his car off the Dike Bridge. And the man’s a revered leader in the Democratic Party!

Let’s face it, folks. When it comes to our duly elected public officials, there have always been rotten apples in the barrel. This includes Democrats and Republicans alike. I’m reminded of forty-six-year-old openly homosexual Rep. Gerry Studds (D) who once romped through Portugal with a 17-year-old male congressional page. The unrepentant Studds reportedly turned his back on his fellow House Members during the censure vote against him. Not surprisingly, he was elected to five more terms after his censure. Why would Foley expect to be treated any differently if he got caught wooing an underage boy? Note that when his dirty laundry was aired, the media gods sent lightning, thunder, and a great hailstorm to Capitol Hill. Yet there’s barely a drizzle when a Democrat is caught with his or her hand in the cookie jar.

What those in authority do in their private lives reveals what’s in their hearts!

Lies, sex, adultery, bribery, perjury, homosexual liaisons, prostitution and treason are all in a days work for some of the men and women Americans hold in high regard. Here are a few examples to mull over:

President Bill Clinton (D) -- Marital infidelity, two claims of sexual misconduct, lied under oath, impeached by the House of Representatives

Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich (R) -- Marital infidelity, accused of hypocrisy and unethical behavior, forced to step down as Speaker.

Senate Majority Leader Trent Lott (R) -- Accused of supporting racial segregation, forced to step down from his post.

National Security Advisor to Bill Clinton, Sandy Burger (D) -- Convicted of mishandling classified terror documents.

Sen. Jay Rockefeller (D) -- Chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee, took a private trip to the Middle East to warn Saddam Hussein of an impending US invasion a few weeks after 9/11. Rockefeller’s information gave an enemy of the state time to move WMD and prepare for war.

Sen. Bob Torricelli (D) -- Implicated in a bribery and campaign finance scandal.

Sen. Joseph Biden (D) -- Admitted committing plagiarism during his Senate career.

Sen. Gary Hart (D) -- Marital infidelity.

Rep. Dan Crane (R) -- Consensual sexual relationship in 1980 with a 17-year-old female congressional page, censured by the House, tearfully apologized, defeated in reelection.

Rep. Barney Frank (D) -- A male prostitute living with Frank conducted a prostitution ring from his apartment, Frank was reprimanded for fixing 33 of the pimp’s parking tickets.

Rep. Duke Cunningham (R) -- Convicted of tax evasion, conspiracy to commit bribery, mail fraud, and wire fraud, and resigned in shame.

Rep. William Jefferson (D) -- Under investigation by the FBI for suspected corruption and expects to be indicted.

Rep. Bob Bauman (R) -- Solicited sex from a 16-year old male prostitute.

Rep. Cynthia McKinney (D) -- Slugged a Capitol police officer in the chest.

Rep. Gary Condit (R) -- Marital infidelity with 2 different women, one of them a Wash. D.C. intern who was found murdered. Condit was suspected of withholding important information about her disappearance.

Rep. Alcee Hastings (D) -- Accepted a bribe and was impeached by the U.S. House of Representatives for corruption and perjury. Reelected in 1992. (If the Democrats were to regain control of the House, as of 2006 Hastings would be next in line, due to his seniority, to chair the House Intelligence Committee.)

Mayor Rudi Guliani (R) -- Marital infidelity

Rev. Jesse Jackson (D) -- Marital infidelity, fathered a child with his mistress.

Roscoe Dixon (D) -- Convicted of extortion and payoffs.

Despite the reprehensible behavior of a handful of those in high places over the years, Christians must not get discouraged and opt out of the process. Sinners sin! Why should that surprise Christians? Keep in mind that our religious liberty is at stake! Christians mustn’t become disheartened or apathetic and withdraw from the process. Like it or not, politics affects every aspect of our lives, and if we expect to continue preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ in this country, we must not give in to the Secular Humanists and their anti-God agenda. If we give up now, the next Speaker of the House, just behind the vice president in the line of succession to the presidency, will be, horror or horrors, shrill partisan Nancy Pelosi, a San Francisco liberal!

Is punishing Republicans worth the cost?

The American Family Association offers the following reasons for people of faith to vote in the November election:

How important are the upcoming elections? Extremely important! Below is a list of what we can expect if the liberals win. These elections are crucial. It is vitally important that you vote. Please vote and encourage others to do the same. As bad as things are, they will be infinitely worse if the liberals win.

The strategy of the liberals is to get Values Voters so disgusted and discouraged that they will not vote. If that happens, the liberals will have achieved their goal and they will be running our country.

Here is what we can expect if the liberals win:

Amnesty for 12,000,000 illegal immigrants.
A push to make homosexual marriage and polygamy legal in all 50 states.
Only liberal judges will be appointed. They will create laws to implement the social agenda liberals cannot get passed through the legislative process.
Liberals will make the killing of the unborn more difficult to stop.
Liberals will continue to try to rid our society of Christian influence, including any reference to God in our Pledge and on our currency.
A return to the "Fairness Doctrine" in broadcasting where opposing views must be given equal time. Every conservative talk show host will be forced to give a liberal equal time on every issue. The purpose of this rule will be to shut down conservative talk shows.
An increase in taxes to push new social programs.
Passing a new "hate crimes" law making it illegal to refer to homosexuality in a negative manner.
Liberals will give terrorists from other countries who try to kill Americans the same rights American citizens enjoy under our constitution.
We will withdraw from Iraq, sending the message to the terrorists that if they will just be patient they can win and bring their terrorist acts to the U.S.

Go vote! Encourage other Values Voters to do the same.

Democrats have few policies beyond attacking President Bush and have long lost any legitimate right to claim they are a responsible opposition party. The "Scoop Jackson" Democrats of the 1970s who understood the need for a strong national defense are long gone, with few exceptions, like Senator Joseph Lieberman, whose responsible statements on the war have led to his ostracism by the party elites. The 1970s Catholic, Southern, and blue-collar Democrats who stuck by their traditional moral values are now mostly "Reagan Republicans."

In their desperation to regain the power they held for decades, Democrats have seized on a few isolated scandals and manufactured others, trying to paint Republicans as fostering a culture of corruption. But the real systemic corruption is in the Democratic Party, from its highest positions of leadership to the bowels of its Bush-hating, antiwar base.

The party's decline took firm root in the late 1960s and 1970s, but has accelerated dramatically over the last decade. Today's Democratic Party -- the party of Al Gore, John Kerry, Howard Dean, Harry Reid, Joseph Biden, Edward Kennedy, and Hillary Rodham Clinton -- is the party that sacrificed all moral principle to defend Bill Clinton in the 1990s no matter what the scandal. It is the party that adopted the Clinton mode of conducting politics as an art of personal assassination -- while accusing the other side of doing it.

It is the party that tried to steal the presidential election in 2000, then convinced itself that Republicans did steal it -- and has been paralyzed with bitterness and conducting revenge politics ever since. It is the party that demands bipartisanship and reconciliation, but whips President Bush with the olive branch he extended at their behest.

It is the party whose ex-presidents routinely violate the longstanding tradition against criticizing their successors -- and even do so on foreign soil.

It is the party that falsely claims President Bush is trampling on the Constitution -- while making no secret of its own willingness to subordinate the Constitution to its own political ends, most notably through using the judicial branch to "legislate" policy it cannot achieve through democratic means.

It is the party that isn't honest about its core convictions, knowing that honesty will render it even less electable in a center-right America. It denies its liberalism in favor of the euphemistic "progressivism." But while "progressive" implies "forward-looking," Democrats are mired in the past, reactionary on issues from Social Security (don't change a bankrupt system) to Iraq (don't defeat a hostile dictatorship and try to make it a democracy).

It is the party of elites who look down their noses at red-state America. It is the party that snubs Christians and "values voters" yet claims to be their authentic representatives. It is the party that can't decide whether its electoral difficulties stem from its failure to effectively articulate its message or from the wholesale stupidity of an electorate that's too Christian, too much in favor of traditional family values, and too patriotic.

It is the party that often doesn't even bother to offer alternative policies, but chooses instead to slander President Bush and obstruct his policies. In the last few decades the party has increasingly engaged in the destructive partisan politics of class and race warfare, further alienating and dividing Americans. But it has sunk to new lows more recently with the egregious practice of playing partisan politics with our national security.

What follows is an indictment of today's Democrats -- in their own words, and meticulously documented -- revealing them to be a party of moral and intellectual bankruptcy with little promise of redemption in sight. Our country needs a responsible opposition party -- a party willing to participate in an honest policy debate -- but sadly, the Democrats fall way short of the mark.

Pathetic Liberal Sissies

1.) there is no such thing as moral absolutes, good and evil, right vs. wrong and

2.) if we just take the time to talk to them we can get them to like us, they are not even aware that the "infidels" the enemy seeks to kill first - would be their immoral, self-serving, hedonistic, wicked selves.

Liberals are pathetic because they serve selfish immoral purposes. That is also what makes them weak. In their twisted thinking they believe with all their hearts that such weakness is actually strength. And that perversion of reality is sealing their doom.

Their doom does not have to be America's end.

And whether they realize it or not, by preventing them from regaining power, we are saving them from themselves!

Unable to compete in the world of free debate with transparent facts, liberals behaved like children this week - proving that in the end national security and even national identity are always subservient to their own ego, reputation, and appearance.

It was pathetic, cowardly, and sickening.

It is also far too typical.

Liberals, who in large part are people devoid of true substance and belief, who also have great contempt for God, morality and truth, are often unable to deal with facts that reflect poorly upon them. And using pathetic, self-serving, cry-baby tactics is how they are commemorating this week - the fifth memorial of 9/11.

By now, you've no doubt read all about the ABC Mini-Series "The Path to 9/11" and some of what it will contain on Sunday and Monday evening. This no holds barred look at mistakes that were made in both the Clinton and Bush administrations will criticize decisions made and the decision makers in the run up to September 11. Beginning just before the World Trade Center bombing in 1993, based upon the 9/11 Commission's Report, it will trace events that led up to the horrific event we commemorate this week.

Every insider that I spoke to who has seen it has referenced it, "amazing, historical, and important." Others have called it an "even-handed critique." It sounds to me to be very faithful to the original Report.

But then came word that Bill Clinton, and four of his top staffers, objected to the way they were portrayed. But they didn't just object. They belly-ached, they threatened, and in the end they were able to force ABC television to cave on some material that took a critical look at their role in the years between 1993-2000.

Something that particularly irked them was the implication that the Clinton administration allowed Osama bin-Laden to escape. But this was no implication - it is fact. On at least two occasions OBL was within our grasp but it was our lack of initiative that let him slip through our fingers. While Clinton was being serviced by an intern, and Hillary was busy letting him, he bombed an aspirin factory in response to terrorist actions taken against us.

The Clinton staffers who squealed like pigs over the ABC series do so for the same reason they did most things when they were in power. The central focus of the Clinton years was not, "what is best for the nation." It was always, "what is best for the Clintons and the people they liked." As long as the dot.com boom held up we as a nation were told that the State of the Union was strong - even as our enemies plotted, planned, and even attacked us - and no response came.

Now that the ugly truth is about to be seen by millions of Americans, and because it will embarrass those in powerful positions, Clinton and his staff demand the facts be changed to assuage the people's opinion of them.

And one of those making the demands... none other than Mr. "stuff the papers down my pants" Sandy Berger.

But in reigniting this debate over the image of liberals in America, they have exposed themselves as something worse. Not only are they unable to deal with criticism - something that all leaders must do in order to be effective leaders - but they are a true danger to America.

The great sin of 9/11 was that we as a nation did not dare to imagine the destruction that our enemies could cook up for us.

In Clinton's time, his administration refused to!

And this holds true for us today. Where are the great voices from the Democratic Party ready to lead the charge to make America safe from the dangers of open borders? Where are the vibrant leaders in liberal America who are ready to deal justice to those who seek to kill Americans? Where are those on the ideological left who have any clue as to how to aggressively stop terror threats from re-emerging?

The few that used to exist have been run out of the party.

Because liberals are under the misguided notions that 1.) there is no such thing as moral absolutes, good and evil, right vs. wrong and 2.) if we just take the time to talk to them we can get them to like us, they are not even aware that the "infidels" the enemy seeks to kill first - would be their immoral, self-serving, hedonistic, wicked selves. And in that ignorance they are also blinded to the direct overtures that the enemy continues to make - recently even Mr. Ahmadinejhad saying directly, "bow down to Islam, or you will be forced to."
